I am in the middle of replacing timing belt as well as all others. The new manual i just got doesn't show the timing marks for the balance shaft in the position that mine is. I have a 2.4 dohc engine. The manual shows balance shaft in the 9 O'clock position to the crankshaft. On my engine balance shaft is in 12 O'clock position to the crankshaft. Do i have a problem?

Hi JBJ1952,

I double-checked with the factory service information as well as another professional source, and those timing marks are correct. When installing the belts, be sure to set all of the marks as shown in the manual and you shouldn't have a problem.
