Default 2005 buick century

looking to change the pcv valve on my 2005 buick century with a 3.1 engine. the valve is held in place by a bracket which is rivited into the valve cover. what is the easiest method of changing the valve.

Hi klemme8181,

The valve on our project vehicle wasn't riveted, and the GM factory service information doesn't mention anything about a riveted bracket, either. But, if you're sure that's the PCV valve you're looking at (in the front cylinder bank valve cover), you'll have to drill out the rivet to get the valve out.
