    Default 1998 isuzu rodeo axles

Im working on a 1998 isuzu rodeo. Im trying to get the axles out to replace axle seals. The book says to remove the lock screw to remove the pinion shaft. The unit in the vehicle has a roll pin to hold it in and the ring gear is in the way of pinion shaft

    Hi toybox,

There was a period when the Rodeo could have been equipped with either a Saginaw rear axle or a Dana rear axle. Sounds like you're got the Dana rear end; follow the procedure for Amigo models in that section (your axles are retained at the outer ends, not with C-locks on the inner ends). Sorry for the confusion.
