Default Code 77 for a 1996 Dodge Intrepid automatic transmission

I have a code 77 showing up on my 1996 dodge intrepid the car tries to shift and there is a whirring sound coming from the drivers side of the transmission and when its even sitting in park it makes the whirring sound. i have changed both the input and output sensors, when we changed the sensors the car worked good for about two weeks and it started making the same sounds and doing the same no shifting. What should I do?

    Hello KLX1765,

The vehicle condition that you are describing requires profesional diagnosis. Of coarse, this is beyond the scope of our manual (review Sections 1 & 2 in Chapter 7). After some initial online research, it appears that others have encountered a similar problem. You may be able to find some information online that could assist you with your concern.

Ok can the solenoid pack being clogged be the possible problem? Is it possible to fix it myself or do i need professional diagnosis for that *** well?
