    Default timing marks

    by the manual cam marks line up together on center line, crank triangle lines up to mark on oil pump housing tried this and turning 180
    no help 2003 chrysle sebring conv 2.4 dohc

    Hi dlr353,

    The marks shown in the manual are the proper timing marks; if you set something up 180-out, there's a good chance that you may have bent some valves. Also, if the belt broke when the engine was running, it's almost certain that some valves were bent.
