    Question

My 1993 Plymouth Acclaim started then quit and wouldn't start again after that...no power to the ignition coil, but have power to fuel pump.
The engine rotates but does not produce any spark. New coil, cap and rotor, plugs are good and has fuel. at a loss here.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The manual also does not give me a pin assignment diagram for the 60 way sbec, or an indication as to which terminal is positive on the ignition coil, for the outlined ignition test on a 3.0L V6- 93' Acclaim.
Does not tell you how to check crank position sensor, it can't be asd relay, have fuel pump power. Distributor optical sensor? or optical disks?
    Have 2 trouble codes, 12 & 41, battery voltage is over 12 volts...12.75V

    Hi Carbuff1969,

Email one of our tech service reps at research@haynes.com or call 1-800-442-9637. Give them the number of the manual you're using, and they'll do what they can to help.
