even tho millions were produced, it's not that ez 2 find a good unmodified, low-mileage example of what i feel is the best of the foxes: the1987-93 5.0's. many have been hot-rodded to death and/or have rust issues.

one of the mustang magazines has reported that primo examples have gone for as much as $10k.

maybe that ford is now reviving the 5.0 nameplate, there will be even more interest. the old 5.0's will become "neo-classics".

my opinion is that the 1993 cobra model will become a collectible, but that the regular 5.0's will remain merely classics.
