    Default 2000 Mistubishi Eclipse

My timing belt broke while driving down the road. I replaced them but now there is a ticking noise. Is there something I am missing or maybe something else is wrong?I am afraid to drive it until i get answers.

    Hi kirenna2003,

Oooh - When a timing belt breaks on an engine like yours, usually valves get bent. I'm surprised it even runs. You should do a compression check to see what cylinder the problem lies in.

ok we got the Eclipse running but it doesn't have the power it used to, it seems like it is bogging.
