Front suspension and springs

BMW 5 Series E39. Diesel Auto 2000

Hi,
Front Suspension and springs
Can anyone advise? I've been using Haynes Manual for the last 20 years but sadly they don't have one for my current car, though I'm sure their experts, or one of you other clever guys, knows a thing or two about changing my shockers and springs.
I've just taken delivery of the parts, now I'd like a few Must DO's and DON'Ts before I start.

Sorry, but since we don't make a manual for your car, we don't have any information that we can look at to give you any pointers you might need. You could try going to www.bentleypublishers.com - they might have something that would work.

Suspension work can be dangerous, especially when working around springs, so make sure you obtain some kind of service information specific to your vehicle before you start the job.
