    Default '95 chevy lumina with no break lights

    my 95 chevy lumina has no break lights. the third light works, the sockets get power, the blinkers work, the fuses are good, just replaced the stop light switch...what's wrong?

    krissy147 - check the ground side of the rear brake lights. You can have power to the lights but if you lose the ground they still won't work.

    My 95 did the same thing... Try pushing the brakes as you pull back toward you on the turn signals ( dont pull back as hard as you would turn turn your high beams on). Its a switch thats broken. and not cheap to replace. I was told by the garage you have to take the wheel and airbag off to fix it.
