    Question transmission problems

    i have a 90 acura integra gs i have changes the transmission and i am still having shifting problems with it it is an automatic but it doesnt want to shift until its at about 5 or 6000 rpms and why is this acurring and also sometimes when i try to start the car the s3 on my shift indicator will flash not allowing the car to sart can someone explain to me what is going on

    i found that my problem was in one of the sensors on my intake

    The number of times the S3 light flashes will indicate certain potential problem areas. These problems can range from internal transaxle problems, a faulty automatic transaxle control unit, faulty throttle position sensor, to internal transaxle problems or a fault in the circuitry somewhere.
