Default Warning Light Suzuki Vitara 1994 reg

    Hi,
I wonder if anyone can help, have been getting a warning light come on on my dash and not sure what it's for. Started a couple of weeks ago when I was going up hills, have topped the oil up and it seemed to go away but it's now coming on much more regularly and not just when I'm going up hill. My fan belt is squeaking but have checked it and it's not worn so think it might just be loose. Has anyone any ideas? Thanks, Lauren

    Good morning Lauren26,

What warning light is coming on? Your owner's manual will explain what all of the various lights on your instrument panel mean. Your oil level was low and you have a loose belt - is it the belt that turns the water pump? Do you think the engine is overheating? Based on the info you gave, it would be very difficult to attempt to point you in the right direction. We really can't diagnose problems from a remote location, but if you can be a little more descriptive maybe we can help.

By the way, your Vitara is covered in Haynes manual no. 90010.
