    Question diesel

My question is simple, I have not yet bought my manual due to the fact that there is no 91 golf diesel book. How ever my alternator belt is in dyer need of changing and although im pretty sure I can figure it out, im just curious if it is even worth it to purchase a manual for the non deiesl car, or if it will only be relatable to the inside of my car, and not much use under my hood. If anyone knows if its worthwhile please let me know!

    Hi AN DIESEL,

The book would not be of much use for anything engine-related, for obvious reasons. As far as the alternator goes, it's tough to say if the book would help you or not. However, the mounting arrangement is probably similar to the gas-engine models. So, it's up to you to decide if the manual would be a worthwhile purchase.

    Good luck!
