Hello Haynes, yup it's me again. Haven't posted on here in a while. Hope everything's fine with y'all!
Well the 'ol '93 Ford F150 is on it's last leg. It's developed a bad misfire, I replaced the plugs, plug wires, cap and rotor still misfiring. Long story short after pulling a compression test I found out the number 8 cylinder is getting 0 compression. I ended up taking it to a mechanic that I know really well he said the engine is going to need a complete rebuild to the tune of about $2000. He suggested buying another vehicle. He had a 2001 Chevy S10 that he was working on and was getting ready to sell so I bought it; I just took possession of it today. I gave $2800 cash for it. The truck has a 2.2L 4 cylinder with a 5 speed manual transmission. I'm not a fan of Chevys I like Fords best but I had to get a set of wheels. I have already purchased your Chevrolet S10 & GMC Sonoma Haynes Repair Manual a few weeks ago; hadn't even taken possession of the truck yet when I purchased it.
