    Default Electric adjustable mirrors

I have a 2001 F250 pickup. I am trying to figure what makes my adjustable mirrows work. Sliding side to side switch to either side dosen't make any different. If I remove the connector from the switch I have one wire out of the seven hot. If I plug the connector back in and slide the switch one way and try moving with the adjuster switch nothing happens. If I do the before sentence and touch my test light to curtain wires while moving the adjuster switch the mirrors will move, not nessicerilly the right direction. Something makes the mirrors work when they are getting a light ground thru my test light. I have manual 36094 but it dosen't go into details about the wiring and/or relays for electric mirrors. I kind of doubt an manual would do that, right. Maybe you could steir me in the right direction to try to sort this problem out. Thanks

    Hi rickluc,

Contact one of our tech service reps at 1-800-442-9637 - they can supply you with a wiring diagram for that circuit.
