Help 1992 GMC 305 5.0. EGR Solenoid male fitting

Greetings,
I am having a difficult time identifying/finding the part/hose that connects to the middle male connector on the EGR solenoid that appears to lead to a female connector that's close to the rear of the engine. Not sure if the connection is vital to pass California smog your assistance is greatly appreciated.

Sorry, but it's hard to tell what part you're referring to. However, if it is related to the EGR system, it's a pretty safe bet that it is required to pass a smog check.

Thanks for the response. Attached is the female connector, after looking at it again the plug does not attach to the EGR solenoid. Cant determine where it goes.

Well, after viewing the photo, the hose connector (assumed) is still a mystery... A thorough visual inspection for the other end of the connector would be the next logical step. Of course, tracing the hose to a component should also render some clarity. Professional assistance may be necessary given the obscurity.
