2000 toyota corolla fuel filter replacement

Hi I have the haynes manual for my 2000 corolla 1.8L and I am not having trouble locating the filter but finding any auto parts stores that sell the fuel filter. I've checked everywhere. Is there a reason auto zone and other places don't carry the fuel filter for this year corolla?

Go to Chapter 1, Section 22 of your manual. You'll see that the Note at the beginning of the section states that the filter on your model is integral with the fuel pump. There is no replacement interval and it probably isn't available separately from the fuel pump module (you should check with a Toyota parts department to see if the filter is available separately).
