    Unhappy 2000 Chrysler Cirrus

I have a 2000 Chrysler Cirrus and I recently started the car and I had an oil like substance leaking from my coolant system. It looked like the engine oil for my car mixed with the coolant that was in my car and it was coming out of the resevoir and when i took the radiator cap off it was coming from there as well. Would you be able to help me find out what is causing this problem?

Check your engine oil too - it probably looks like a milkshake. The most common cause of this symptom is a blown head gasket. A compression check would be in order, and you might want to use a combustion leak detector to see if in fact exhaust gases are leaking into the cooling system. A leakdown test would also confirm a bad head gasket.
