    Unhappy 2001 saturn sl2-- no start after operating temp..

    2001 SATURN SL2 1.9 L: AFTER REACHING OPERATING TEMP WHILE DRIVING AND STOPPING AND SHUTTING OFF ENGINE, TRY TO RESTART ENGINE, INSTRUMENT PANEL LIGHTS UP LIKE NORMAL, WHEN TURN IGNITION TO START POSTION NOTHING HAPPENS... NOW WHEN DRIVING CAR, SUDDENLY LACKS POWER WHEN APPLYING GAS PEDAL, TRANSMISSION WONT SHIFT DOWN INTO ANY OTHER GEAR WHEN DOWN MANUALLY, AND SOON AFTER, CAR SHUTS DOWN AND NO START AFTERWARDS.. ANY POSSIBLE CAUSES THAT CAUSE THIS 1st.... NEED HELP PLEASE..

    Well, we really can't diagnose problems from a remote location, but the first thing you should do is check to see if there are any trouble codes stored in the PCM.
