    Default manual question

I have a manual for 93-98 Jeep grand Cherokee. I recently upgraded to an 04 limited 4.7 liter. Will manual still work.

    Hi mrivar80,

No, you should get an updated manual. For one thing, your manual does not include the 4.7L V8 engine. Not only will this affect engine mechanical procedures, it will affect routine maintenance procedures.

The front brakes on 1999 and later models are different, and there are suspension differences too. Flipping through the manual I notice many procedures separated by "1998 and earlier" and 1999 and later" headings.
