    Default Cylinder head replacement

I need to replace my cylinder heads on a 04 Jeep grand Cherokee w 4.7L HO. Do the manuals tell you the tools required for the job. I fixed a motorcycle once that listed the tools required and this made it much easier rather than a few trips to the tool store.

    Hi smeagol,

No, our manuals don't list what tools are required (unless a special tool is needed).

Default This would be a great idea for future editions

I helped my friend do some work on his motorcycle. Right up front they showed a picture of the recommended tools and listed what they were. This sure makes life easier than back and forth to the tool store. Think about the time saving for your customers and the advantage it would give you over your competitors.

    Hello smeagol,

Thanks for your input! We should correct ourselves a bit, we do have a list of recommended tools at the front of our manuals, but not one for each specific procedure... We hope your project goes smoothly. We also recommend having an assistant. It would be great if you had one with some experience.
