Default 1995 jeep wrangler timing problems?

I'm replacing the timing chain on my 1995 jeep wrangler. On page 2B-1 under specifications it says Cylinder numbers front to rear are 1234, but on the diagram the front arrow is pointing to cylinder #4. On the diagram is this from the driver seat perspective?

    Hi laervin,

The arrow is pointing towards the front of the vehicle (not to cylinder no. 4). Cylinder no. 1 is the one closest to the radiator.
