    Question 06 gmc sierra 5.3

    I have a code 342 (camshaft postion sensor low voltage) do i need to replace the sensor? is there a way to test the sensor?

    We wouldn't recommend replacing anything just yet. See what others have experienced with your vehicle and this code. It could be quite telling... Here are examples of what we mean:
