    Default recommend gear oil?

    I have a Jaguar xj6, series 3, 1980. I was wondering what type of gear oil is recommended for this model? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi stevocarton,

    You'll find that information (and lots more!) in Haynes manual no. 49010, Jaguar XJ6, 1968 - 1986, Series 1, 2 and 3.

    If you can't find one at an auto parts store near you, you can order one from this website.
