Default Rear seat removal 2001 Buick LeSabre

I have a Haynes repair manual identified on the front as 19020 Buick, etc. 1985 thru 2005. I need to remove the rear seat to access a seat belt. Page 11-10 says to remove the seat cushion retaining bolts, detach the seat cushion and remove it from the vehicle.

Are these bolts accessed from the rear seat, trunk......where are they? Thanks.

    Hi cbaker70,

OK, on your model the seat cushion isn't retained by bolts - just push in on the bottom of the front of the seat cushion (where it meets the carpet), then pull up.

    Hello cbaker70,

We just wanted to let you know that we've also sent a diagram and instructions in response to the email that you sent to our Technical Research Department.
