Cool trying to keep it cool

hey is there anyone out there that can help me with this situation. I have a 2000 silhouette and it's overheating like crazy so i took the water pump off to see if it was bad but it was good.but i torn down the other side of the motor and found a leaking line from the thermostat housing. my question is how do you pull that line from the back side of the motor. do you have to take the heads off first to get to it. please get back to me asap thanks!!!!!!!.

    Hello bigreg,

There's no need to pull the heads to replace that line (if we're talking about the same one...). We can send you some specific information on the part in question if you like. Email one of our tech service reps at research@haynes.com, or call them at 1-800-442-9637. Give them the number/letter combination on the title page of the manual, just to the right of the Haynes logo; it looks something like this: (4JR - 36055). They'll do what they can to help.
