Does the 1991 (3rd Gen) Camaro have struts? If so where are they located. Any knowledge would be helpful. I am trying to lift my car up a couple of inches. I can stand how low it is. Thanks.

Also any advice on what gear to buy to accomplish lifting my Camaro.

Hi Jay,

Your Camaro has struts on the front, but not the rear. Like any suspension component, they're located behind the wheels they're associated with. As far as lifting your car, we can't give you any pointers there - that's a pretty unusual thing to do to a Camaro. If you search around on the internet you might find something.

Your car is covered in Haynes manual no. 24016. Get the book before you do anything - it'll give you an idea what to expect when you get under the car, and it will show you how to remove and install all of the components you'll be dealing with.

Will rims that has a bolt pattern of 5-4.5 fit on a 91 Camaro?
