in the manual and in my trunk are sealing grommets. I changed out my valve cover gasket, and thought they were for a different engine. The sealing grommets didn't seem to fit under the molded gaskets. I have never changed out a valve cover before, in the manual there was no diagram. Is there any online diagram's aviliable?

Hi freightliner2029,

In addition to the valve cover gasket, there are rubber seals that seal the area between the valve cover and the spark plug holes. The washers for the valve cover nuts have rubber grommets, but they're built into the washers.

Whether or not you haev the right parts we have no way of knowing. But if they don't seem to fit properly, you should check with a parts department to see what's going on.
