Back in November I was driving my Jimmy when it started to over heat, so I pulled off the road and turned the car off. I checked and I had a massive anti-freeze leak....so I slowly but surely made it home by filling her up with water...When I got it home I was loking around and saw that I had water in my oil...so I automatically assumed it was a blown head gasket....Now 7 months later I decide to work on it and deconstruct the engine to remove the heads and get them checked....Here is where I need help:
I was removing the air filter cover, when I got it off I saw that in the pipe was A LOT of the water and oil mixter, also there was some in the air filter.
Does anyone know the cause of this? I'm starting to think maybe my intake manifold is cracked because of where all the oil and water is sitting ontop of it, but I really have no idea, and I have NO CLUE how the oil got in the air filter the way it is.
Responses are appreciated!! Thanks
