I really hope you can help. I cannot find any information on the size or strength of the bolt that should be in the front motor mount on our Plymouth Voyager 1987 3.0 l. Is there a chart in the manual that can help? The bolt is completely missing from the car.

We are using the Haynes manual 30010 page 2c-13 has a diagram of the engine mounts but the spec 7mm and 12 mm seem to be the width and not the length. Does it matter?

Hi briandjana,

Those specs (W = 12mm/X = 7mm) are the widths of the gaps between the mount and the mount bracket, but you need to obtain a bolt of the proper size, thread pitch and length for the application. You can experiment by buying a selection of bolts and trying them, or you can order the proper bolt from a dealer parts department. Unfortunately, the manufacturer doesn't publish bolt specifications (other than torque specs).

Hope this helps, and thanks for using Haynes manuals!

Thanks, but I haven't had much luck with the dealer.
