when are haynes going to make a kia sportage manual as lots of people on different sites are all looking for the same.

So much for that list of potential titles. I have owned a Haynes manual for every vehicle I ever owned but it looks like that streak ends here. Sad. It's not like it's some exotic vehicle and I see enough of them out there that the motivation would be self evident. Luckily, Kia's service site has full manuals for every year sportage (and every other Kia). It's not really what I want because those electronic manuals are not convienient and they all assume you are working on the car in a fully equiped Kia service dept and not in a driveway like me. They do work in a pinch though. If anyone has trouble finding it I'll post a link if asked (and if Haynes lets me).

Thank you for your interest. We appreciate all correspondence from our customers, since it helps us produce the finest do-it-yourself manuals available.
Because of the extensive time and cost necessary to produce one of our manuals, it is not financially feasible to produce a manual for every model; we must base our decision on many factors; vehicle sales volume. We hope we will be able to produce a manual for the referenced vehicle in the future, and we will do so as soon as it is feasible.
