I am trying to replace my fuel filter and my manual says to unplug the inertia switch behind the passenger side kick panel. Only problem is that there are a bunch of plugs back there and the book does not show me a picture of which one it is. Can someone help me.

Hi cellingsworth,
The inertia switch is located behind the passengers side kick panel. The switch is usually white with a red button on top. If the switch is tripped the button will be up. To reset it, simply push the button in.

hi there, I just did my fuel filter and had the same problem. the inertia switch is directly below the glove box on the right hand side. there is no need to remove the kick panel, you can access the switch easily. the red button on top is just visible. flick it up with a screwdriver if you dont want to disconnect the wiring.
