2005 chevy malibu

I have a 2005 Chevy Malibu Classis w/a 2.2 engine that turns over but will not crank. I just replaced the ignition module after checking the ignition coil to make sure there was not any spark and that did not work. It doesn't have any spark and was wondering if anyone may have any suggestions before I go through the expense of replacing the ignition coil. These parts are costly and cannot be replaced because they are considered electrical compnents. Appreciate any help.

Hello Lynn Bryant:You could try taking an ohm reading on the secondary side of the coils and see what it looks like. Make sure to check all fuses and relays. Make sure you have power in and out on the fuses and at least power to the relays.
